THE BUXTON STORY

My family’s been living and working in Brighton for over 100 years having lived in North Road, Bay Street, Seacombe Grove and many other spots there.

But I’d have to say Kinane St — between the railway line and the beach — is the best place to live in Brighton.

It’s quiet and narrow with Chinese elms lining its bluestone gutters. All year round, the range of extraordinarily mature trees across its many large homes draw a fabulous array of native birds.
